Things To Do

Things to do

We recommend making a little trip out of our wedding if you can! There are so many wonderful places to see and things to do while you’re here. Jekyll Island and St. Simons are both charming small-town beach communities, perfect for slowing down and soaking it all in. We suggest bringing a beach chair, searching for local gems, and simply relaxing for the weekend. To help you get started, here are some of our favorite recommendations!

St. Simons Island Lighthouse Museum

610 Beach View Drive, St. Simons Island, GA 31522

Fun fact: This is where we got engaged! The St. Simon’s pier and village are right near the Lighthouse!

Georgia Sea Turtle Center

214 Stable Road, Jekyll Island, GA 31527

Jekyll Island Miniature Golf

100 Great Dunes Lane, Jekyll Island, GA 31527

There’s also Red Bug Motors Pizza beside it!

Cap Fendig's Dolphin & Fishing Tours

St. Simons Island, GA 31522

Tortuga Jacks Jekyll

201 Beachview Drive North, Jekyll Island, GA 31527

It is a beachfront Baja-Mexican restaurant and tiki bar on Jekyll Island, serving fresh tacos, margaritas, and coastal favorites in a laid-back, island setting.

Mullet Bay Restaurant

512 Ocean Boulevard, St. Simons Island, GA 31522

Palm Coast

318 Mallery Street, St. Simons Island, GA 31522

Coastal Coffee

103 Marina Drive, St. Simons Island, GA 31522

Wake Up Coffee Company

32 Pier Road, Jekyll Island, GA 31527

Wake Up Coffee Company

St. Simons Island, GA 31522

Jekyll Market

11 Main Street, Jekyll Island, GA 31527

Jekyll Market is the island’s one-stop shop for fresh groceries, quick bites, local seafood, sweet treats, and coastal gifts. Whether you’re grabbing picnic supplies, enjoying on-the-go eats, or browsing unique souvenirs, it’s a convenient and charming spot to experience a taste of Jekyll Island. Although, if you plan to grocery stop I recommend stopping first in Brunswick!
