THANK YOU, TINDER! Many, many moons ago we both swiped right, and it lead us to this wonderful life together! We texted for a few weeks via Tinder and decided to finally meet at The Bier Garden of Encinitas, California for burgers and beers. The night was full of laughs and we didn't want it to end so we walked across the street and played a few rounds of pool. Bobby shared his love of 90's hiphop (and ability to sing/rap all the words!) and Lauren tried to downplay her love of animals, especially pot-bellied pigs. Four and a half years later, we've had quite a lot of adventures and can't wait to make many memories together in the years to come.

DINNER WITH A SIDE OF SPARKLE What seemed like an ordinary dinner out turned into a night we'll always remember! On Sunday, July 7, 2019 we decided to try C-Level on Harbor Island in San Diego, after both suggesting and vetoing 4-5 other dinner options. Despite not taking reservations, we were able to walk right in and were seated at a booth big enough for a family of 8. Bobby enjoyed his vodka-soda (Keto-friendly!) and I sipped a French 75 (so refreshing!). We savored a tasty meal and reminisced about some fond memories from the last 4+ years. After dinner we walked along the pathway in front of Coasterra Restaurant that overlooks the harbor and faces the downtown San Diego skyline. The 4th of July had just passed, and Bobby pointed out the various buildings that were still lit up with patriotic colors. The night was growing chilly and I was ready to get home and into my pajamas. Bobby had other plans. He held my hands in his and knelt down on one knee, and with a sweet (and very nervous!) smile asked "Will you marry me?" It was sweet and simple, and all I needed to hear before tears filled my eyes and I said YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in Puerto Vallarta!
