A short drive from Wilmington - tickets run about $13 for adults, open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher

If you love antiquing this is the place to go, a bunch of neat stuff and it has 4 or 5 buildings - nicely organized! Grab an iced coffee and walk around.
