It all started with two kids trying to navigate high school. With two last names at the end of the alphabet, we sat next to each other in several classes. This began a friendship that really blossomed once we started college and suffered through quarantine as two freshmen at Clemson. It was easy to cling to hometown friendships 90 miles away from home during a time of isolation. From nights spent with friends in the dorm rooms to going on drives just to get off of campus, it's hard to say when friends seemed to be too small a term. Maybe we grew up, maybe we actually took the time to get to know each other on a deeper level. Somewhere along the journey, spending time with a bestfriend turned into going on dates and, of course, falling in love. All we can say is life is sweeter in the company of a friend.
