It truly lives up to the hype and has been named as the most photographed place in Colorado. The Maroon Bells are accessible via car or RFTA shuttle, both of which require a reservation.

Ruedi Reservoir

A fan favorite for Lee, Reudi Reservoir is a premier outdoor destination, offering breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, dense forests, and vibrant red rock scenery. It’s an ideal spot for boating, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding, as well as excellent trout and salmon fishing. Alternatively, you can simply relax and enjoy the stunning views!

American Lake Trail

One of our favorite hikes in Aspen. This is an intermediate-level hike and about 4 hours round trip, but the views during the hike are gorgeous!

Crater Lake Trail

Colorado has several "Crater Lake" trails, with the most famous being near the iconic Maroon Bells (Aspen), a moderate 3.5-mile hike to a beautiful alpine lake with stunning views. This is quite possibly one of the most iconic hikes in the nation and certainly in the Aspen Snowmass area!

Glenwood Hot Springs Pool

If you know anything about Laura Leigh and bike riding, this is the infamous place for a crash course on "leisurely" downhill riding. Fear not, a van takes you to the top; the view is worth it, and there is an adventure park nearby.
