Melbourne, Australia, November 27, 2017 was the first day they met. Both were on the Sia tour and had arrived in Melbourne. Patrick first noticed Laura Jean in the lobby and he knew instantly that he wanted to know more about her. Later, while sitting inside at the hotel bar with friends, Laura Jean caught a glimpse of Patrick seated outside.
