The Short Pump Town Center is a two-level outdoor mall that has something for everyone! You can shop till you drop or enjoy a nice meal at one of the many restaurants!
Carytown
Richmond, VA 23221
Carytown is in the heart of Richmond and has unique shops and restaurants. It’s a great place to explore, especially on weekends. One of our favorite places to eat is The Daily Kitchen & Bar!
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

This is where Vince and I had our second date! General admission for regular exhibitions is free! (If you wish to see special exhibitions, you can purchase tickets.)
Science Museum of Virginia

The Science Museum is another great way to spend an afternoon. See the website for details on permanent and visiting exhibitions!
Maymont

Maymont is one of Laura’s favorite spots in Richmond. It’s a nice place to go for a walk, and you can explore the gardens. (Tennis shoes recommended. Seeing the gardens requires walking downhill & back uphill.) Admission is free!
Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Explore 50 acres of beautiful gardens! Tickets can be purchased online in advance or when you arrive (about $20 per adult).
Scott's Addition Historic District
Richmond, VA 23230
Scott’s Addition is a rapidly expanding area that has several great restaurants and breweries, including some rooftop bars! Pinky’s is a great brunch spot. (Reservations recommended!)
Wyndham Lake

Wyndham Lake is a small lake with a walking path in the Wyndham neighborhood in Glen Allen. If you aren't looking for a tourist attraction and just want to take a simple stroll through a nice neighboorhood, this is a relaxing place to do it!
