We recommend flying into the Portland International Jetport (PWM) if feasible! It is a quick 15 minute Uber/Lyft/Taxi ride from the Jetport to downtown Portland. Downtown Portland is very walkable, so renting a car for the weekend is not necessary.
Train
For those traveling from Boston or NYC, the Amtrak Downeaster train may be a convenient option. The Portland Amtrak station drops off at Thompson's Point, which is approximately 10 minutes by car to downtown Portland.
