Flight
If you're flying into Mexico City, the closest airport is Benito Juárez International Airport (MEX). It’s about 30 - 45 minutes from the city center by car or taxi, depending on traffic. We recommend using authorized airport taxis, Uber, or arranged hotel transportation for a safe and smooth ride to your destination.
Travel Note
Besides walking, the easiest way to get around Mexico City is with Uber. It’s affordable, reliable, and a great option. We don't recommend using local transportation (i.e. cabs, buses, or the metro) or renting cars if you're not familiar with the city.
Travel Note
Looking for a place to stay in Mexico City? We recommend checking out Airbnb — there are plenty of great spots within different price ranges all over the city. Traffic in Mexico City can be intense, so we recommend trying to find something near the venue in Coyoacán or in adjacent neighborhoods like Roma Norte and Condesa. Vrbo is another great option!
Travel Note
We've put together a list of mostly small boutique hotels in the Condesa, Coyoacán, and Roma Norte neighborhoods—each with its own unique charm. These areas are very walkable and filled with great restaurants, bars, museums, vintage shops, and local markets, making them perfect places to explore during your stay.
