Self Drive and Parking at the Ceremony

The address is : The University of Sydney - Great Hall, Science Rd, Camperdown NSW 2050 There is limited parking around the campus. Casual parking is available at a rate of $4 per hour, up to a maximum charge of $24 for 24 hours. The payment method depends on the type of machine, with some accepting only credit cards or only coins. Please note that the machines do not provide change, and the University does not offer refunds. You can also pay using the CellOPark app. Mobility parking permits If you hold a valid RTA Mobility Parking Permit, you can use the designated disabled parking bays on campus. You can also park for free in any numbered parking bay, other than those marked with restrictions such as ‘University Owned Vehicles Only’ or ‘Loading Zone’. Your permit must be displayed clearly at all times.

What to do between the Ceremony & Reception

Whilst the wedding party and immediate family members are getting our photos taken we expect there to be around a 3 hour gap until the reception starts. In this time you are free to do as you please, perhaps you will be going to your hotel room, getting a bite to eat or relaxing at a local pub. Getting from Ceremony location to Reception location

Our Reception is at The Tea Room , Sydney Queen Victoria Building (QVB) Address: Level 3 Market St End, Queen Victoria Building, 455 George Street, Sydney NSW Our Reception at The Tea Room is 2.9km away from our Ceremony venue at The Great Hall. 37 minute walk 10-15 minute drive (uber, taxi) If you are self driving: The QVB ‘Wilson Car Park’ entrance is located via York Street. Entry after 5pm & before carpark closure times; per vehicle Saturday $15 The Tea Room is located at the market street end of the QVB. A good landmark is the country road store on the ground level. Access to the QVB car park is via the underground entrance on York street (adjacent to the QVB). There is only one very small lift or the spiral staircase that takes you up to The Tea Room on level 3.
