Better Together

A Florida girl and a California guy walk into a bar, turns out to be the first day of the rest of their lives... Our love began 9/9/19 on our first date in a New York City bar - who would've thought that Hinge would bring us together in a city of over eight million people? Our first conversation began with "nicknaming" each other our full names: "Laura Cole" and "Joe West." The nicknames stuck and so has our love. We have made it through some tough times together, starting with COVID at the beginning of the relationship. Luckily for us, these trials only brought us closer and enhanced our trust and love for one another. After almost four years together, we decided to move across the country back to Joe's hometown of Oceanside, California. Already a happy family with our fur babies Jax and Sterling, Joe took the leap on 9/19/24 and asked Laura to make the Cole-Weats (iykyk) official once and for all. With a perfectly Californian sunset proposal on Cardiff beach, Joe surprised Laura with his Grandma Mary's ring and Laura's best friends hiding, watching nearby. Long story short, we are unbelievably excited to celebrate with our most cherished family and friends in less than a year. We can't wait to see you!
