We will be overtaking one of Brevard's local restaurants/bars downtown on Friday night as a gathering point for all guests. This will be a great time to reconnect, meet new folks, and get excited about the weekend to come!

Ceremony- The Main Event

Festive wedding attire. The ceremony will be in a grassy area, so spiked heels could be an adventure.
Follow balloons/signs once you enter the Music Center Campus. There is a small parking lot adjacent to Thomas Hall for those needing convenient parking and extra parking in the Main Lot behind the amphitheater for those who don't mind a short walk.
Celebratory Mountain Hike
2:00 pm - 5:15 pm
OPTIONAL post- ceremony celebration up on the mountain.
Beautiful 50 min. drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. 3/4-mile moderate hike up to Black Balsam Knob with amazing views, great photo opps, and likely some libations. 50 min. drive back down. We'll carpool from the Music Center (parking could be tight) and return in time for the reception. Formal attire is fine, but bring some comfy walking shoes with good traction (some short sections are rocky and slightly steep) and a coat- it can get chilly up there! (Weather dependent) Also a great break time for those wanting to rest up for the reception dancing, visit with family, or explore town.
Reception- Time to Celebrate!

Sunday Morning Gathering

Very casual- travel and adventure clothing is fine!
This will be a very casual gathering with coffee and pastries. It will also be a good time to meet up with other folks before traveling home or to coordinate hikes, swimming, and bike rides in the forest for those that don't have to head directly home. The Sycamore Flats picnic area is on the left shortly after the entrance to Pisgah National Forest. It is only about 2 miles from downtown Brevard.
