Matron of Honor
My sister and my lifelong best friend, Brittany has been by my side through every chapter of my life. Being just two years apart, we grew up inseparable — so much so that people constantly confused us for the same person. From highschool days (where we probably shouldn’t have been switching classes) to endless childhood games of “kidnapped,” she has been part of so many of my favorite memories. Brittany has always been the one who takes care of everything — and everyone. She’s organized, thoughtful, and always ten steps ahead, known for making sure every detail is handled perfectly. But more than that, she has always taken care of me. She’s been my constant, my voice of reason, and the person I’ve always leaned on no matter what. Her strength is something I’ve admired my entire life, and it’s one of the many reasons I am who I am today. From as long as I can remember, she’s been helping me dream up this day, acting as my personal wedding planner long before it was ever real. I truly could not imagine this day without her by my side.
Best Man
My actual partner in crime. Jeremy and I have been by each other's sides since the beginning. We first met in flag football although did not really become besties until middle school. He has been my go to and one person I can always count on. We have put up with each other through our best and our worst. I would not be where I am today without him. Literally, he is the reason I came to Savannah. From one drunken voicemail in high school there has never been an easier choice as my best man.
Maid of Honor
The youngest of my sisters and my built-in best friend, Kassie brings a kind of energy into my life that no one else can. She’s wild, unforgettable, and truly the life of the party — the kind of person who lights up every room she walks into and somehow always keeps things exciting. Growing up with Kassie has been equal parts fun and chaos in the best way. She brings out the most carefree side of me, while also somehow keeping me on my toes, always making sure she’s okay — a role I’ll probably never grow out of. From late nights like jumping in the ocean at Jax Beach after a sisters’ night out, to our yearly Tortuga trips, every memory with her feels like an adventure. Living together in Savannah and experiencing life side by side are some of the moments I’ll always hold closest. Whether it’s our morning FaceTimes while I make breakfast and drink my coffee, or just knowing she’s always there no matter what, Kassie has been a constant in my life in the most special way. She’s my hype girl, my sidekick, and the one who reminds me to have fun through everything. I truly can’t imagine this day — or life — without her by my side.
Groomsman
Christopher is the youngest of my older brothers. He has been such a role model of leading by example. He has shown me the life of health and wealth by promoting an active lifestyle and showing me it is okay to take risks. No matter what the outcome he has always been there when I call. He has always been there to challenge me when I need it whether its physically or mentally. A huge supporter in everything I do just like an older brother should. As the years go by we get closer and closer.
Bridesmaid
The oldest of my sisters, Ange has always been someone I’ve looked up to in every stage of life. She has a way of loving people so deeply and unconditionally, always taking care of everyone around her and leading with a warmth that makes you feel instantly safe. She has been there for me every step of the way, guiding me through life with so much care and showing me what love truly looks like. Her faith and the way she lives her life have inspired me in more ways than I can put into words, constantly encouraging me to grow and be better. She’s also let me be so close with her children, and through that, she’s taught me so much about what it means to be a good mom. When I had my daughter, she showed up for me in the most meaningful way, helping guide me through it all with patience, love, and understanding. And while she is one of the most caring people I know, she’s also unexpectedly hilarious — always keeping us laughing with jokes you’d never see coming and her love for a good April Fools’ prank. I am beyond grateful to have her by my side on the most important day of my life.
Groomsman
Robert is the next old man. Ten years apart makes it easy to always remember his age, or wisdom. He has been such a huge supporter and rock throughout my life. I remember during school he would randomly take us to the Fiesta for orange chicken and Keno. It was one of those things I looked forward to most when I knew it was coming. Robert has always made sure I kept a high standard and reminded me when I needed it. He has always been just a phone call a way no matter what. Not only has he set an example as an older brother but he has left me footsteps of a great father and spouse.
Bridesmaid
Kylie and I have been inseparable since high school, and from the very beginning, she became the person who knows me better than anyone — truly down to the last drop of red wine. She is the most understanding, kind, and genuinely good person I have ever met. No matter what she has going on in her own life, she always shows up for me without hesitation. She’s my therapist, my hype girl, and the best friend I could have ever asked for — the kind of person you just know will always be there. Some of my favorite memories with Kylie are the ones that make no sense to anyone else — falling asleep on a flat air mattress in her first apartment, eating jars of pickles while watching scary movies all night, and dancing and singing out of the sunroof like we didn’t have a care in the world. With her, everything is fun, easy, and full of life. She’s the person who can turn any moment into a good time, but also the one I can count on for absolutely anything. I truly don’t know what I would do without her, and having her by my side on this day means everything to me.
Groomsman
Mi amigo, mi Hermano. My actual partner against crime. Duarte and I met when I was just a rookie officer and he showed me the ropes of the wild side of violating rights (not actually). I remember barely being cut lose and sliding around the streets to the next dropped tones or fist bumping after a taking care of business. Not only does he challenge me to be a good cop but also a good man. From chasing bikes to kicking in doors there are not many people I trust with my life the way I trust Duarte.
