• When we met it seemed by chance but the entire chance was a plan! Kaelyn, Janson’s best friend’s wife went out to dinner with friends where she met Laura. Laura had been drug along to the dinner by Nicole, that she knew no one at. Well turns out Kae and Laura sit across from each other and begin talking it up. Little did Laura know, Kae was about to give her my entire life story. While the girls were at dinner, Janson and Jeremy were up to no good at the house and on the way to Rogue water to wait for the women to arrive. When everyone finally arrive, Janson thought they were all in a bridal party and laura was actually getting married, being she was the only one wearing white top and blue jeans while everyone was in black. After a few minutes, Nicole came to stir the pot, asking Janson if he was single, She then put Laura in front of Janson and the rest is history! • Shortly after we hung out on Halloween, Janson gave Laura a ride home and that’s when Dex was introduced, and the claim was made this will never work because Janson has two dogs. Plot twist! Dexter became addicted to Janson immediately. Eventually when the dogs met, we knew it was meant to be because echo and Dex flourished running around the yard and even got Opie to play. • A few months later for a birthday brunch is when it got real. We were going out for brunch for Janson’s bday, We met at Laura’s where she had mimosas ready and a beautiful and delicious chocolate cake with a squirrel on it, maybe the best cake ever. This is when I knew how amazing of a woman, she was. That day as we sat around carafes of mimosa juice, flights to Hawaii were booked. No questions, no hesitations, just a flight and a date. This is where we knew, at least for Janson. Knew it would be a struggle but in the end, there was no other choice. The most delightful and meaningful trip with people Janson didn’t know but now won’t live without. • Now onto the engagement. After an extremely long and stress year in Florida, we decided it was for the best to go back to Savannah and recuperate. We quickly got back into our old groove and back on our feet continuing to travel, to Sedona, New York and booked flights for Greece. Little did Laura know, this Greece trip was the one to change us forever. As we booked our flights and accommodation, Janson was planning something else. It was the right time that a ring got made. Through endless debate and back and forth with Heather, the family jeweler, a design was finalized and it was showtime. As we got closer to our trip in May, we got our next big surprise. We took a little test. Well well well, turns out there was a wonderful reason for that. We were both full of emotions and the waterworks. If you have ever seen an at home test this one really spoke to us with the positive reading “PREGNANT.” It was as if the word came out of speakers at a concert and we were front row. The first thing we said was we are still going to Greece. And that we did and had a great trip traveling with Kaitlyn and Sam. The best most expensive fish happened to flop on our plates. Then one day on our Santorini rooftop we made the jump. Janson got a photographer and walked all over town looking for the perfect flowers. He stumbled into a local flower shop where the sweetest lady helped create a perfect bouquet of Peonies. That day Laura thought we were taking maternity photos and hopefully she was surprised when she turned around to a sparkle while overlooking the Caldera of Santorini.
