The ceremony will take place at 5:30 pm outside on the Casino Lawn of the Omni Homestead Resort + Spa. Then it's a short walk to the cocktail hour and reception which will be held following the ceremony inside the hotel in the Crystal Ballroom and Empire Ballroom.
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony's start time, which is 5:30 pm. This allows for potential traffic, parking, finding your seat, etc. If you're using the shuttle, they will ensure you're dropped off on time. If you are late arriving, please note that you will be asked to wait until the wedding procession is complete to avoid disruptions to the ceremony. Thank you for your understanding!
Yes, we are requesting Formal Attire. For gentlemen, we're encouraging tuxedos, but they're not required. You're also welcome to wear a suit and tie or bow tie. For ladies, floor length formal gowns are preferred. Tea-length cocktail dresses are also allowed.
While we love your little ones, the couple politely requests that their ceremony and reception be adults-only. If you need child care in Hot Springs, please contact care.com for babysitters.
Only if a plus-one is specified on your invitation. Please respect the bride and groom's decision, as enough seating and food have been accounted for for those closest to them.
Parking at the hotel is minimal. There is valet parking at the venue, but we would recommend taking advantage of the provided wedding shuttle from your hotel or carpooling as much as possible.
Yes, please let us know on your response card if you have any dietary restrictions, we will do our best to accommodate those.
Yes, we will be providing shuttles for those who are not staying at the Omni Homestead resort property. Once we have them, we will post information about the shuttle schedules and when/where to meet the shuttles and when they will be returning at the end of the evening. If you choose not to use the provided shuttles, please be safe and arrange for an alternative form of transportation back to your lodging if you plan to drink.
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have hired a phenomenal photographer, and we politely request that you let them capture that special moment and be present with us "unplugged". For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #ClearedforCothran so we can see them, too!”
Given the sacred nature of the event, we respectfully request an "unplugged" ceremony. But if you take any photos before/after the ceremony, please tag us and use the hashtag #clearedforcothran.
