Enjoy a scenic hike with spectacular view of the ocean. Walk on a peaceful trail down to Torrey Pines State Beach. All the trails are well marked and fairly easy. Be sure to go at low tide so you have time to walk along the shore.
Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre historic urban cultural park in San Diego that features gardens, walking paths, and our favorite museums in San Diego. The Zoo is also located here!

Beacon's is a locals surf spot and a great place to watch the waves, wild life and people along the coast. Or you can walk down to the beach to lay out on the sand. Parking is limited but you can find street parking either north or south of the beach.
