Walk around the beach surrounded by sandstone cliffs and see large colonies of sea lions lounging in their natural habitat.
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Enjoy a scenic hike with spectacular view of the ocean. Walk on a peaceful trail down to Torrey Pines State Beach. All the trails are well marked and fairly easy. Be sure to go at low tide so you have time to walk along the shore.
Balboa Park
Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre historic urban cultural park in San Diego that features gardens, walking paths, and our favorite museums in San Diego. The Zoo is also located here!
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park, an 1,800-acre wildlife park, is home to more than 3,000 animals representing over 300 species. Guest can expect to see animals in herds of mixed species in expansive savanna habitats. Enjoy thrilling safari experiences and create lasting memories.
Leucadia State Beach (Beacon's)
Beacon's is a locals surf spot and a great place to watch the waves, wild life and people along the coast. Or you can walk down to the beach to lay out on the sand. Parking is limited but you can find street parking either north or south of the beach.
