How do I RSVP?

Answer

Once you receive your formal invitation, please RSVP by navigating to the “RSVP” section on this site. Simply click the RSVP button, type in your name and then all attendees respective to your invitation will appear. Then, you can click accept/decline for each individual and submit your response. We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 9, 2025.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In Palm Beach County, the weather is typically warm and humid. Average high temperatures range from about 85°F to 88°F (29°C to 31°C), while the lows tend to be around 70°F to 75°F (21°C to 24°C).

What is the dress code for the welcome party?

Answer

Derby Chic - guests are encouraged to get creative and embrace the glamour of the Kentucky Derby. For the ladies - hats, fascinators and fun dresses. For the gentlemen - sports jackets, button downs and if you're feeling up to it, add a bow tie!

How will I get to the welcome party?

Answer

The Ray Hotel is a short ride (~5 min) from the Opal and Atlantic Suites. Ubers and Lyfts are very accessible in Downtown Delray.

What is the dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. Men should wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie. Women should wear formal gowns / floor-length dresses.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at a Catholic Church. The cocktail hour will be held indoors, while the reception will take place in the courtyard.

How will I get to the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to both St. Thomas More Catholic Church and The Addison. Buses will depart from the Opal and Atlantic Suites. For those staying at an Airbnb or other hotels, Uber or Lyft are very accessible in Delray, making it easy to get to and from the venues. You're welcome to join us at one of the bus pickup locations or head directly to the venues. Guest parking is available at both the church and the Addison for those who prefer to drive. However, we strongly encourage everyone to take the provided transportation or a taxi service to ensure a smooth and stress-free day. Be sure to check our wedding website for the latest schedule and pickup times!

What should we do between the ceremony and cocktail hour (aka the "Catholic gap")?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests staying at the Opal and Atlantic hotels will have buses available to take them back to their hotels. You’ll have a couple of hours to freshen up, relax, or grab a drink before the evening festivities begin. The buses will then pick you up again and take you to the reception venue in time for cocktail hour.

How will I get back to the hotels after the reception?

Answer

Buses will be available to take guests back to the Opal and Atlantic Suites hotels starting at 11pm. However, we'd love for everyone to stay and celebrate with us until midnight — because why not? The night is young!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only occasion with exception to immediate family / bridal party. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!
