Our Story In 2022, Darrell and Laura crossed paths at the same gym at just the right moment. Darrell, a New York native, had recently moved to Houston and began working there. Laura had also moved to the area and joined that gym—unaware that what felt like ordinary routines were gently and beautifully aligning their paths. Darrell was immediately attracted to Laura, and realized her personality made her special. His humor and kindness stood out too—especially on the day they met, when his name tag didn’t even carry his real name. Required by the gym to wear a random one, he laughed it off easily, revealing the lighthearted charm that would become so familiar. As they continued to run into each other, small conversations grew into a meaningful connection that felt anything but accidental. Over time, their shared love for fitness, faith, and growth brought them closer. Along the way, Laura introduced Darrell to her dog—helping spark a love for dogs he never knew he had (despite a quiet fear at first). Caring, playing, and loving that pup became part of their journey together. When the time came to say goodbye, it left a lasting mark on both of their hearts. A year later, on Laura’s birthday, Darrell surprised her with a puppy they named Bentley, who is deeply loved and still very much part of their lives today. Now united by faith, love, and purpose, Laura and Darrell continue to build a life side by side—supporting one another in fitness, business, and everything God places in front of them. What began as perfect timing has grown into a forever kind of love.
