The Colorado National Monument is a beautiful place to visit! All park visitors are required to pay an entrance fee ($25/vehicle) or have a valid federal recreation pass to recreate in the monument, including all trailheads.

Colorado National Monument

The "Mesa" as the locals call it has tons of beautiful hiking up to 10,000 feet! It also has several lakes, a visitor center, and two lodges.

Grand Mesa National Forest

Ouray is about an hour from Grand Junction and is termed the "Little Switzerland of America"! It is absolutely stunning. There are hot springs, shopping/eating, and plenty of hiking with incredible views!
