Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes and no, don’t show up in sweat pants, but a three piece suit or evening gown is not necessary. Dressy Casual

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes, I have tried to account for this in our guest list, however if it wasn’t mentioned on your invitation shoot me a text or give me a call to make sure, and if you think you may want to bring a plus one let Chris or I know ASAP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location and there should be plenty of parking.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony at 4 pm, I would advise between 3:30 and 3:45. This depends on several things: you may want to socialize a little beforehand, go to the restroom, find a place to park, situate the kids or anything else. We aren’t super picky or uptight, we want every one to feel welcome and relaxed. However unless we have asked you or you know you’ll be helping in some way prepare for the wedding do not show up before 3.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, there are several hotels in Shelby that I would recommend as well as some Air BnB properties, the latter would be my suggestion as many of you may be traveling from out of town, they may in many cases be cheaper as well as a little more private. More on this in the travel section of the website.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes, this is something else I need to know pretty soon.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, most are close to the venue so driving shouldn’t be an issue. Carpooling is possible as well. If you’d like to do this let me know and we can work it out.
