Question

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes! We wouldn't ask you to come all the way to Hawai'i just to lock you up inside! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be outside. Should weather not cooperate that day, the area will be tented.

Is transportation provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a shuttle service to and from the venue, Kualoa Ranch, which is about 30-45 minutes from Waikiki. The buses will depart the Hilton Hawaiian Village bus ramp at 2:30pm on Monday, May 30th and return guests back to the hotel after the wedding ends. There is also ample parking at the venue site - Paliku Gardens - if you prefer to drive.

What should we wear?

Answer

We are recommending aloha crisp attire! Think traditional wedding attire, and you are welcome to incorporate fun tropical prints where desired. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the venue is outdoors and you will be walking on grass!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love all of your children, however we want our wedding to be your night off. We're planning to keep the wedding limited to children of the family.  Please let us know if you need suggestions for arranging child care. We hope you understand!

When should we plan to arrive and depart?

Answer

We are recommending that guests arrive on O'ahu the weekend before the wedding and, if choosing to extend your stay, stay the week following the wedding. We are personally planning to stay on O'ahu until at least the Saturday following the wedding. Of course, feel free to do whatever is best for you!

What restrictions and precautions are in place due to COVID-19?

Answer

The wedding will be outdoors and we will be subject to whatever state and county mandated safety precautions may be in place at that time. We will continue to update the website with the latest information.
