Over 8 years ago, Ben and Laura met on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts (we won’t say where). In the Summer of 2013, Ben was a waiter and Laura was a nanny. One night driving back from work, Ben recognized a girl on the sidewalk as a facebook friend he had never actually met or spoken to (a story for another time). He rolled down his window and somewhat startlingly said “Are you Laura Recoder?” We won’t question the stranger danger training that Laura seemed to have missed in school, but that was the strange and wonderful start of our love story.

Lulu loves games. Ben dislikes games, but loves Lulu so plays them. Lulu thinks Ben secretly likes games and is right. There will be games at this wedding. Ben is afraid of sharks. It remains to be seen if there will be sharks at this wedding.
