Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the Redwood Lawn at Glen Oaks Big Sur. Cocktail hour will be at The Glass House at Alila Ventana followed by dinner on the Sky Terrace at Alila Ventana.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Given the small guest list, we ask that you RSVP by 7/15 so that we may fill your seat if you are unfortunately unable to attend!

How do I get to/from the wedding?

Answer

On wedding day the shuttle will be available to take everyone from Carmel to Glen Oaks. It will also transport everyone from the ceremony site to reception site, and from the reception site back to Carmel at the end of the night! We highly encourage everyone to take the shuttle as there is poor cell service in Big Sur and we don't want anyone to have to worry about driving on a long, windy, dark road after celebrating all night!

What do I wear?

Answer

Please dress in formal attire, so suits for men and full length or midi dresses for women. The ceremony will be on grass, please be cautious if planning to wear heels. We expect the weather to cool down in the evening, so a jacket or shawl is appropriate. The reception site will have heaters and blankets available as needed!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

During October the weather in the Carmel/Big Sur area is 60s to mid-70s during the day and cools to the mid-50s in the evening! Fingers crossed for sunny skies!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! During the post-ceremony social hour there will be select beer and wine available, followed by a full bar during cocktail hour and dinner!
