Washington Plaza at Lake Anne
Reston is "the nation's first planned community," and Lake Anne is a great place to visit. Enjoy a pretzel & beer at our local pub, Lake Anne Brewhouse, pick up a book at the used book store, or just enjoy some fresh air lakeside. APRIL-NOVEMBER FARMER'S MARKET 8AM-12PM
Wheatland Spring Farm + Brewery
One of our favorite local breweries! It's a little out of the way if you're coming for the reception, but it's a great stop if you're on the Loudoun County Wine Trail
Harpers Ferry National Park
Want to go for a hike? There are several national parks around - Harpers Ferry combines historic old town attractions with nature. Harpers Ferry is not far from the May venue.
National Mall & Memorial Parks
Make sure to check the website for closures due to COVID-19, protests, or festivals. Driving in DC can be a competition sport, so we recommend taking the Metro in from Reston or Tyson's Corner.
