We are asking people to be responsible. Please have a negative COVID test prior to attending, and if you are feeling unwell, stay home or wear a mask.
The simple answer is THE PANDEMIC! Under Virginia's guidance, gatherings are restricted to 10 (indoors) to 25 (outdoors). That doesn't allow us to invite everyone we'd like to. But, we thought, that's no reason to not go ahead and get married. Thus, the two dates. We are keeping our ceremony intimate, with only immediate family. The reception in 2022 is for everyone. Also, it gives us time to plan the celebration that we truly want, while enjoying the benefits of being legally married.
The name really says it all – a table full of cookies! But to the Western Pennsylvania region, it’s so much more! Traditionally, friends and family prepare these cookies. It's an opportunity to share sweet treats that we love with the people we love. No one should feel obligated to participate, but we invite you to bake and share your favorite cookies with us! Just bring them to the reception, and we will take it from there!.
