Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Though the wedding and (most importantly) reception will be Adults only. Please know that one of the reasons why we chose this resort because it was super kid friendly with lots of activities at the kid clubs for all ages. Also the resort offers babysitting for a fee for those that need to bring their kids in order to attend or for those that may want to make a family vacation out of it. We absolutely love the kids but we want the parents to be able to enjoy themselves too!

When is the latest I can book my room?

Answer

You can book your room at any time. If you book your room within 60 days from your arrival date, you will need to pay for your room in full. Please contact Megan (info under Travel tab) to help you with your room or directly on our website. If booking late, you will need to contact Maegan directly because any changes or bookings will need to be done manually. Please note that if you do not RSVP or you RSVP too late, you might miss out on small things i.e. being placed on the seating chart, place cards, etc.

Are passports required?

Answer

Yes! And they must not expire within 180 days (6 mo.) from traveling since you are able to stay in Mexico for 6 months at a time.

Is Mexico safe?

Answer

We know there've been travel advisories about safety in Mexico. I can say that the resort itself is very safe. You have to pass through 2 security entrances before making it on the property which is unlike hotels in the Hotel Zone. We would not bring our family to a place that we felt unsafe. If you do travel outside of the resort, be aware of your surroundings & try traveling in groups. We did bring this up to our travel agent & here's her response: "Yes, I’m aware of the travel advisory. I know it sounds a little alarming. Keep in mind when you are on the resort you are on private property. Unless you’re a guest of the hotel, you are not allowed to enter the front gates of the property. There is a guard shack and it is monitored 24/7. A good thing to put into perspective is all the crime happening in the U.S. While it’s easy to say Mexico sounds unsafe based off recent articles—you can find the same & worse happening in our own neighborhoods, just to give perspective."

Is there roundtrip transfer service offered to and from the resort?

Answer

Yes! Megan, our accommodation specialist, can help you set it up via phone or email if you don't select it when first booking. Roundtrip is $27 per person for shared, $60 per person for private. If booking while reserving your room, you must select "View Airport Transfers" for the different options and pricing available.

What are some things included in the room?

Answer

Every bathroom will be equipped with full size bottles of lotions, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner along with toothpaste, shower cap, comb, sewing kit. The rooms will have full bottles of rum, wine and a whiskey plus snacks (chips & candy) along with a mini fridge of beer, soda, and bottled water.
