Latifah - It all started out as a girls night out, and I noticed this HANDSOME man walk by. After realizing he was working for the bar I kept going up and ordering drinks trying to get him to notice me. He didn’t. A few drinks in he finally comes up to me and asks me what I would like to drink. Liquid courage came into play and I asked if he had a girlfriend… thankfully he said no. I thought to myself ‘perfect I will be your next’. I went to Italy and text him everyday… I couldn’t wait to see him when I came back. Ever since then he has been my better half. He is the man I can’t imagine my life without and now I don’t have to!! James - I met Latifah while working at a busy bar/nightclub/restaurant in central Phoenix. I was the Manager on Duty and running around in circles trying to keep the crowd happy while attending to the staff so I was a little scatter brained. After making a few laps I swung by the bar to jump in the well and help the bartenders out for a bit. While there, Latifah approached the bar and ordered two vodka/sodas. So I made them for her and handed them off. She said “thank you because I see you are very busy” I thought it was so sweet of her to say that I said “this round is on me.” Shorty after she dropped the digits. Inconveniently she was off to Italy days after we met but the moment she came back we have been an item ever since. She is the best thing that ever happened to me and yet we came so close to never crossing paths. Life is crazy.
