Places to Stay

In addition to the inns/hotels listed here, we also recommend guests check out Airbnb for accommodations in or near Barnard. There are limited traditional options and many of them can be pricey. There are properties of all sizes in the area, so maybe consider getting a group together and renting one large house! Some of them have pools and home theaters!

How Far Away Are Things?

Sometimes weirdly far. Always ask a map app how long the drive is from Point A to Point B. It may only be a few miles as the crow flies, but the road may take 20 miles to go around a mountain. We'd recommend going no further than Royalton to the north, Windsor to the south, Killington to the west, and Lebanon NH to the east. Barnard, Bethel, Woodstock, or Pomfret are going to be the best options for travel time.

This is Barnard's only (non-celebrity filled) bed & breakfast. It's very cute and is within easy walking distance of the ceremony and athletic walking distance to the reception site.
