One of the most famous destinations in all of Pawleys Island! Est. in 1938, the Hammock Shops boasts unique boutiques , speciality shops, and restaurants in the most beautiful settings youve ever seen. Theres a small playground for the kids too! Its truly a favorite of our whole family and it will be yours too! We promise!
Dude. The place has a ZOO too. History- So this deceased artist donated her sculptures and tons acres of land to conserving the wildlife in South Carolina. My mother in law will kill me for this very simpleton description but its huge and its gorgeous! The family had a great time. Worth the price of admission!
The kids didnt want to go at first, but we went, and then we couldnt GET THEM OUT. I cant even describe it but gourmet foods , souveniers, and local artists display their goods. If this makes any sense, we left with food, x mas gifts, jewelry, some sweatpants, water bottles, and PI dishtowels... lol Love that place!
Only 35 mins from Pawleys (depending on traffic), Myrtle Beach is famous for this destination. Im not sure I can do it justice by describing it, but its shops, boat rides, giant slides, zip lines, theater, carousel, a hotel, restaurants, Top Golf, wax museum, Ripleys & a ferris wheel... I mean....
No... b/c the Bride waits literally all year for our trip to Pawleys just so I can have a fresh, flaky "Sandy Beach" donut (really they're cro-nuts) at Parlor. The kids favorite is the Strawberry Shortcake or Cookies n Cream and a hot chocolate. We have to visit at least once every vacation. It will be a favorite of yours too. Were sure of it! Duck Donuts has NOTHING on this place. Y'all need to find out!
If at any time while you're here in Pawleys Island you feel you'd like to experience amazing cuisine and ambience, make your reservation AHEAD OF TIME, and visit Frank's (Outback and Wayback). When I tell you Ive never experienced a full fine dining restaurant flanked by palms and trees and adorned with twinkle lights everywhere. Piano bar in the background and the coolest bar ive ever seen... Im still in awe. The food was amazing and it truly was an experience. Ask to dine AlFresco... Im glad they didnt have a table available inside.
This was one of the most fun family restaurants weve ever been to. Located at Murells Inlet, we had some of the best seafood, views, and live bands ever with dancing and drinks! Its loud and crowded; you've been warned for sensory sensitive children :). Seriously one of the best times weve had in the Low Country! <3
General listing of all the courses available in town. Our favorites are Litchfield Country Club, and Caledonia.
