The Wedding Website of Molly Larson and Stephen Raddie
Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party at our ceremony and reception.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

The Village House at Litchfield is located right off of Rt. 17 and borders the Litchfield Country Club. Only a few miles from the Hampton Inn, Litchfield By The Sea, and Oceanfront Litchfield Inn, Uber & Lyft would be great options unless guests brought their own vehicle. There is plenty of parking at the venue.

Question

How do I reserve a room from a block at at hotel?

Answer

Check the "Travel" page on our website for Room Block info <3

Question

Are there any colors or styles you prefer us to wear?

Answer

NOPE! The more colors the better. Come in semi- formal, cocktail please. The wedding party will be in floor length satin and tuxes.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

....Be glad the wedding ceremony and reception are indoors. lol ENJOY the A/C for the event, and no "rain plan" needed. The outdoor gazebo, and gardens are stunning for cocktail hour and leisure but theres plenty of room and high tables at the wrap around bar. It should cool down significantly as soon as the sun sets. Pack for the beach and waterfront for the rest of your weekend!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a Plus 1?

Answer

Your invite will either state the name of your partner , your name only , or your name " and guest." If your invite specifies your partner or spouse's name, it is assumed they will join you unless otherwise noted. If your invite states "and guest" and " and partner" you are welcome to a Plus 1 partner for the event. if the invite states only your name, it is assumed the invite is only for you. We realize its difficult to know what status relationships are in for everyone so for questions or inquiries, please PM the bride on Facebook.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Appetizer stations will be available during cocktail hour. We are currently planning to have a buffet with several types of cuisine to choose from. Vegetarian options are always available. If there are any specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please contact the bride via PM on facebook.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. Open bar will be available with beer, wine, liquor & cocktails, and a special "signature" cocktail for 5 hours. WANG CHUNG.

Question

Can you give me a link to your wedding registry or where should we bring/ send our wedding gift?

Answer

Our house is fully furnished so no registry is necessary, but we do have four children to put through college. (LOL) Cards and gifts will be welcome at the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The wedding will start on time at 5:30 PM. Please be 15-30 mins early. Porch, gazebo, and rocking chairs are open for all guests prior to the ceremony! Please no vaping or cigarettes inside the venue.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception ends at 11 pm(ish). All guests and event vendors and team must be off the property by midnight. Pawleys Island Tavern ( PIT ) should be open late as an option for anyone continuing the celebration. Its a right turn down 17 behind the Pawleys shops. You dont have to go home but you cant stay at the Village House. Please drive responsibly or uber. <3

Question

Can I bring alcohol with me or drink in my parked car at the venue?

Answer

No. The contract for the venue specifically states that no one may drink or partake in illegal substances in their cars or the parking lot. Any substances found on your person on the premises will be confiscated and the wedding will be shut down immediately as a result. Please understand the importance of the venue rules and enjoy our open bar provided only.

Question

Can I post wedding and reception photos on social media?

Answer

We know it's going to happen. Try to make it flattering, please. Seriously, all we ask is that you don't get in our amazing photographer, (Mrs. Katie Lewis' )way, and credit her where needed, please. ;)

Question

Is yours an "unplugged" ceremony?

Answer

We would not ask our guests to forfeit their right to take pictures. We only ask that guests not get in the way of the professional vendors hired for the purpose, and silence their phones completely.

Question

What health and safety measures are you taking during the event?

Answer

No masks are required. If you're sick, please stay at home/hotel (FFS).

Question

What is the best way to contact the couple for additional questions?

Answer

PM the bride or groom on Facebook or reach out to their personal cells.
