Our love story began when our mutual friend Michelle introduced us and helped break the ice. We dated long-distance between Normal, IL and Houston, TX, sharing countless memorable trips along the way. In 2021, Sandesha returned to Sri Lanka, but Nicholas made the journey to visit her. Later, they reunited in Dubai, where he proposed at the top of the Burj Khalifa. After two years of long-distance and navigating immigration paperwork, we were finally reunited in October 2023. We were married in a courthouse ceremony, with hopes of celebrating more intimately with everyone in the future. Exactly two years later, we’re overjoyed to finally celebrate with our friends and family in beautiful Aruba!
