Our Story

What began as a simple friendship over seven years ago slowly grew into something neither of us could have predicted. We met through mutual friends at a time when life had us walking separate paths, each of us in different relationships and focused on our own journeys. But even then, there was an ease between us, a natural understanding of who the other was. Being friends first gave us a rare window into each other’s hearts. We saw how the other loved, cared, communicated, and grew which built the foundation that became one of the biggest gifts in our relationship. When we eventually realized our feelings ran deeper than friendship, everything fell into place in the most serendipitous way. It felt less like a beginning and more like finally arriving where we were meant to be. Over the past four years together, we’ve been fortunate to explore the world side by side, from Yosemite’s towering cliffs to the beauty of Canada and the warmth of Mexico. Our story began in California, where we both grew up, and last year we took a leap together, moving to Phoenix, Arizona in hopes of building an even better future, one with more opportunity and growth. Our lives have always had a quiet way of running in parallel. We grew up in Southern California, played sports throughout high school, and both moved away to play in college, only to return home after a year, right back into each other’s orbit. Even though we’ve each faced different setbacks and redirections, it feels like something was gently guiding us toward the same destination all along. The “invisible string” idea fits us almost perfectly. Our backgrounds, experiences, and cultures are beautifully unique, yet aligned in all the ways that matter. We share the same values and beliefs, and our differences give us balance, perspective, and strength. We’ve learned to appreciate the ways we complement each other while building a relationship grounded in love, trust, and understanding. What started as friendship has grown into a partnership we're proud of, and now we can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
