The Tennessee Riverwalk is a 13-mile riverside path which parallels the Tennessee River from the Chickamauga Dam to downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. Rent a bike from on of the ride shares or check out the beautiful Ross’s Landing in front of the aquarium. If your feeling really adventurous, rent a kayak from L2 Outside. With a variety of restaurants and activities dotted along its length, you can spend a fabulous day exploring the Riverwalk no matter the season of your visit and you won’t be disappointed.
Bring comfy shoes to hike the trails at Rock City. It’s a 4,100 foot trail that wanders along past natural formations and a 90 foot waterfall. You can cross the 180-foot suspension bridge for a bird’s-eye view of Chattanooga Valley, while it’s possible to see up to seven states at the summit of Lover’s Leap. Don’t forget to check out the gift shop and take home some of their delicious homemade fudge!

For all you history buffs, don’t forget to check out Snodgrass Hill!!!! This place is well known for being part of a civil war battlefield. It’s the oldest and largest Civil War park, here you can visit historic landmarks such as Orchard Knob, the Chattanooga National Cemetery and Signal Point.
Ruby Falls is the world’s highest underground waterfall, located 1,120 feet under Lookout Mountain. Take an elevator down into the cavern with your guide and see all this beautiful place has to offer. There’s also a lookout tower, playground and a zip lining adventure on site.
The railway has been billed “ America’s Most Amazing Mile.” You can reach Lookout Mountain by car but this is the most exciting way. It transports people up the steep part of the mountain. Make sure to visit the observation deck at the upper station to see magnificent views of the surrounding area. The famous Point Park and Battles for Chattanooga Museum are less than a mile north of the railway station.
The oldest registered distillery in the United States. Take a guided tour where you can see the process and sample some of their current products. It ends with a full tasting of Chattanooga Whiskey. Great for an adult’s night out!
Erected in 1891, the Walnut St. Bridge is one of the world's longest pedestrian bridge. It connects downtown Chattanooga to the north shore where you will find funky little shops and restaurants. It’s a favorite for residents and visitors alike. The walking bridge is now dog-friendly!
