Larissa

Bride

Larissa is in process of finishing her final year of Graduate School at the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. After she graduates, she will be opening a private practice in Seattle as a Mental Health Counselor, specializing in trauma. She has lived all over the US and world, but has fallen in love with the West Coast. She loves to backpack, do pen-and-ink drawings and the outdoors. Cameron's favorite fact about Larissa is that she had a hamster (named Hampton) that she insisted on taking to a specialty vet for a checkup.

Groom

Cameron grew up in Turlock, a small town in California and fell in love with aviation. He has found his dream job as an Alaska Airlines dispatcher and loves it. He is the only member of his family to live outside of his hometown. He loves to travel, good food, adventure and the outdoors. Besides being a man that loves Jesus and his family, Larissa's favorite fact about Cameron is that he used to work in a Pet Store (and Animals love him)!

Ellen

Maid of Honor

Ellen is a soul-sister to Larissa. From the first moment that Ellen burst in with the same lyrics to Larissa's favorite musical, they have shared the same heart for life. If there is a crazy adventure that is questionable as to why two humans would attempt it with mediocre skills... Ellen and Larissa are likely in the middle of it.

Chase

Best Man

Although he has always been better at sports he is worse at growing a beard! Being Cameron's best bro, Chase is always the first person Cameron confides in with a huge life event such as planning on proposing to the love of his life. The brothers share a love for the outdoors and the adventures it brings. Chase is married to Rachel and they have a 2 year old son, Tate.

Mother of the Bride

Larissa's mom- is her biggest supporter and person who has always prioritized Larissa's happiness. This day is a special one that her mother has dreamed of since Larissa was very little. You'll likely hear Larissa and her Mooma chattering, laughing, and potentially arguing, but the connection will be unmistakable.

Teri

Mother of the Groom

Always quick to intercede for him in prayer, Cameron's mom offers encouragement to him. Through God's grace, Cameron can see the hand of His mercies because of his mom's prayers and encouragement throughout his life. He is very thankful for the loving support. Being Cameron's biggest fan, her laughter has helped develop Cam's humor and wit. Seeing God's faithfulness to provide time and time again when circumstances seemed impossible, she relies on her favorite Bible verse - Psalm 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.

Kerwin

Standing for Father of the Bride

Kerwin has been Larissa's mom's partner and now-husband for over 18 years. He has been a constant and steady source of encouragement and support. Although Kerwin did not raise Larissa, he has demonstrated the spirit of adoption that God has shown us by caring for her. Kerwin has agreed to stand in Larissa's father's stead.

George

Father of the Groom

Being a model for what a hard worker is, some of Cameron's core memories come from following in his dad's footsteps. Cameron and his father have hilarious and practical stories from maintaining yard work, fixing cars or riding bicycles. Cam's dad has established a fine taste in music for his children by playing his classic oldies records over and over. With puzzles being his new hobby, outside of running after toddlers all day, his children are always on the hunt to find his next puzzle challenge. His sacrificial love for his family is the goal Cameron strives for as he starts his own family. Cameron's dad has demonstrated this unconditional love to him and what that looks like. Cameron is forever grateful for that.

Kelli Couch

Officiant

Kelli met Larissa on a trip to Israel and has been a model of living authentically into biblical womanhood. Kelli's transparency with her motherhood, marriage, and convictions of the criticality of worship have shaped Larissa's vision of what it means to be a wife. While praying for who specifically Larissa and Cameron would like to ask to bless their marriage, Kelli and Aaron's marriage came to mind, particularly an image of Kelly preaching at Tabgha. We wondered if Kelli was available, and she was! We are so thankful to have her face and words be spoken over us as we embark on our journey together.

Sarina

Adventure Photographer

Sarina is a photographer, writer, and lover of all things outdoors. She is originally from the flatlands of Minnesota, now a transplant to Seattle. Sarina is inspired by far, remote mountainous places in the cascades and beyond. Sarina is an advocate for public lands, Leave No Trace, and taking care of our wild places. Larissa found Sarina on the PNW Outdoor Women's Facebook group and has used Sarina's snow camping guides extensively in her own adventures!
