Ariel: In 2016, I was newly single. I was telling my coworker Justin's wife Brittany about my recent breakup when she casually mentioned that Justin had a single brother. There was just one catch: he couldn't cook. This piqued my interest because I LOVE to cook! I just needed someone to enjoy it. She set up a blind double date so that I could meet this mystery man. I was blown away by how funny he was! I couldn't get over his adorable accent, his sweet smile, or the way he hugged me when I walked in. He was my dream guy in every way. I went back to my car that night & deleted every dating app on my phone because I knew I had found the one. <3 Larry: Brittany tricked me! I didn't know I was going on a date. Now I'm getting married. What the hell?
Ariel: We had talked about getting married, so we visited jewelry stores together and I picked out my favorite ring. He was going to go back at a later date without me so I'd still be surprised...but he forgot the plan and told me he was going to the jewelry store to go get it. Now I knew when he was going, so I eagerly waited for him to come home with the ring--only to be told that they had already sold it. He said a new one wouldn't come in until Christmas (this was June, mind you). I was so disappointed. Fast forward a month later, we're celebrating Larry's dad's birthday. He blows out his candles and Larry's mom asks, "What did you wish for?!" Mr. Larry said, "I wish Larry would propose to Ariel." All of a sudden, Larry's family was screaming! Confused, I turned to look at Larry--just as he got down on one knee with the ring in his hand. He got me good! He made up that story so that I wouldn't suspect when it was going to happen. Though I was briefly heartbroken, the actual proposal was totally worth it! Larry: Now she's stuck with me...muahahaha!
Ariel: There was a guy that sneezed so loudly, the whole restaurant got quiet. He said "AHHHHH" without the "choo" part, so it just sounded like he was screaming lol. Larry: I went to the bathroom and she was still there when I got back. It was a miracle!
