FAQs

Question

How many guests will be attending?

Answer

At this time, we are expecting around 130 guests, should the current COVID-19 phase remain in effect. We'll keep you posted if/when anything changes closer to the date. We're closely following Maryland's wedding guidelines to ensure we're in compliance with any COVID-19 restrictions and we're keeping everyone safe. We wish we could have all of you, and we're still crossing our fingers and toes that we can! That said, we may have to stick with limited numbers, and we ask that you check in with us prior to booking your travel or accommodations.

Question

Will you encourage social distancing?

Answer

We can't wait to have all of our favorite people together in one place! With the current guidelines in mind, we do encourage you to refrain from handshakes, hugs, or other physical contact with any guests outside of your household. We have also created our seating plan in line with the current COVID-19 restrictions to allow adequate space between guests during dinner.

Question

Will the wedding be hosted indoors or outdoors?

Answer

While our reception is taking place indoors, we will be strictly adhering to our venue's COVID-safe policy including the minimum square meters required per guest.

Question

What additional safety measures will be taken on the day?

Answer

Please be assured that your health and safety is our top priority! We're trying to have an awesome time AND keep everyone safe. In adherence with the venue, state, and federal guidelines, we are asking that all of our guests 12 years of age and older get vaccinated if they plan on attending the wedding. We also ask that children below the age of 12 have proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the wedding.

Question

Are we allowed to dance?

Answer

We have our fingers and toes crossed that dancing will be allowed at our wedding! We're keeping a close eye on the current restrictions, and we can update you closer to the day. If dancing isn't allowed, fear not - we have some ideas up our sleeve to keep you amused for the evening!

Question

How will changes be communicated before the day?

Answer

Rest assured we will keep you in the loop regarding any important changes. Things are constantly changing, and we're really focused on giving you solid information when we have it. In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel, postpone, or limit the guest list, we will also reach our to all guests individually.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Once you receive our invitations, please respond no later than July 4th.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your RSVP page says "and guest", you're welcome to bring a date. If it doesn't, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Will Uber/Lyft be available?

Answer

Uber will absolutely be available across the bridge in the Annapolis area. It's available on Kent Island as well, but the Uber presence is much lighter than what you'd find in a downtown environment. We also have the number of a taxi service for use around the island as an option!

Question

Can I drive to the venue?

Answer

Absolutely! There is parking available at the Marina.
