Chatham's Main Street is full of lovely boutiques, fun shops and great restaurants! We'd highly recommend walking around and exploring. Chatham Art in the Park will be on display in August and is a fun showing of Cape Cod themed art benefiting the local businesses. Chatham Cookware is a great coffee shop for breakfast or lunch bites and the Chatham Squire is the popular pub in town. Viera on Main, Captain's Table, Bluefins Sushi, Wild Goose Tavern, Impudent Oyster, and Pizza Shark Chatham are other popular spots. Check out Chatham Toys and see if you can spot some of Matt's Franklin products!
If you want some classic Cape Cod seafood this is a great spot to go! Lobster rolls, clam chowder, and fried clams are just some of the yummy options that you can enjoy while you take in the ocean view.
Lighthouse Beach is a beautiful beach located across the street from the Chatham Light lighthouse. Beach admission is free and parking is available along the street. The lighthouse is only open on Wednesdays for tours.
The Hyannis whale watching cruises are a fun and unforgettable experience for anyone looking to make the most of their time on the Cape! Matt and I loved getting to spend an afternoon on the boat and see so many whales.
For those who love to golf, Chatham Seaside Links is a 9 hole course located right next door to Chatham Bars Inn.
The Chatham Bars Inn Farm is an 8-acre farm that produces the fresh seasonal produce that will be enjoyed during the reception! Their farm stand, with fresh produce, sandwiches, and drinks, is open during the summer for all to enjoy.
The Inn has a lot of amenities for both guests and the public! The spa and all 5 of the restaurants on site are open to the public. For guests staying at the hotel there are tennis courts, an outdoor pool, a private beach, and boat excursions (best booked in advance).
