What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is black-tie optional. We kindly ask men to wear a tuxedo or suit and tie, and women to choose an evening gown, midi dress, or formal attire. Please feel free to have fun with your attire! Our welcome party is semi-formal attire. Men in slacks and a nice shirt (jackets and ties are optional). Women in nice mini or midi dresses or nice slacks and shirts. Shorts, jeans, and flip flops are not permitted at the restaurant.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive at the Chatham Bars Inn wedding lawn (location between the Beach House Grille (2) and Boat House (J) on the resort map above and linked here https://shorturl.at/AYQto) by 4:00 pm to ensure you are seated in time for the ceremony.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Our wedding will take place partially outside. Please note that both the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place partially on grass, so please plan your footwear accordingly. We will be beach adjacent for the evening, but not on sand.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is complimentary valet parking at the main inn location off of Seaview Street and complimentary self-parking at the Beach House Grille (beside location 2 and I on the resort map above and linked here https://shorturl.at/AYQto).

Do I need to bring my ID?

Answer

For those under the age of 30, kindly note that you may be asked to present your ID at the bar during our Welcome Party and on the wedding day. If you are from out of state please plan to have an additional form of identification with you, for example a credit card with your name on it.

Are my children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we adore your kids, we have decided to keep our wedding events adults-only and appreciate your understanding.
