Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM, so we do ask that you arrive around 4:00 PM to give yourself some time to grab a welcome refreshment and find a seat.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will have bus transportation set up to and from the ceremony/reception venue from The Yorktowne Hotel. This bus will shuttle guests for as many trips as needed throughout the night. You are also welcome to park at the wedding venue and are permitted to leave your cars there until 9 AM on Sunday, July 16.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting two events at the Yorktowne Hotel: a Welcome Party at 7:00 PM on Friday night and a Goodbye Breakfast on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We will be preparing an corner with games and activities for all of the kids.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding will be a "semi-formal garden party" but wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Note: The ceremony will be outdoors except in the event of rain.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please send us a message (at larapetorak@gmail.com or 570-490-7209) by June 15, 2023 if you would like us to leave a note for our caterer.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking onsite at the ceremony/reception venue. You are permitted to leave your cars there until 9 AM on Sunday, July 16 if you choose to return to the hotel via our scheduled shuttle bus.
