Where should I stay?
Answer
LA has so many amazing neighborhoods. Whether you want the craziness of Hollywood, the ritziness of Beverly Hills, or the beach vibes of Santa Monica, there are hotels everywhere. We've provided a large hotel block at the Sunset Luxe Hotel, central to everything (and close to the venue), where we'll be staying! Airbnbs are also great options around the city.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your children and you're welcome to show them around LA. However, our wedding will be a kid-free event.

Is traffic as bad as they say?
Answer
Traffic is baked into our life here in LA. Depending on time of day, 3 miles could take you 5 minutes to a half hour. Things to consider: Friday is the worst of it - If you are flying in on Friday, get here early in the day to give yourself time to check in. Stay relatively local - consider where you are staying and stick in the neighborhoods around there. Hollywood to Venice and back is only recommended if you love to spend time in your car!

Is there parking at the reception?

Yes, you are welcome to drive to the venue if you are not taking transportation with us. Parking is easy and there is a huge lot. You can also Uber to the venue if you prefer to go separately from the shuttle. Again, just make sure to check for traffic beforehand :).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00, so we recommend you leave LA no later than 3:00 (depending on where you are). Transportation will be provided from the Luxe Hotel @ 3:00

Where do we fly in to?
Answer
LAX is the best option. The Luxe Hotel is right off the highway, only a ~25 minute car ride from the airport. Please know that depending on timing (rush hour is the worst, especially on a Friday afternoon), traffic can add additional time so we encourage you to keep that in consideration

Should we rent a car?
Answer
LA is a huge driving city with minimal public transportation, and cars are part of our culture here. Everywhere you go will be via driving, so it's a matter of how in control you want to be. You can rely on Uber or Lyft from just about anywhere, including the airport. If you want a high-tech, no driver experience, try Waymo. Alternatively, if you are staying in LA for a few days and want to checkout all the different neighborhoods, we recommend getting a car! Cheapest rental car rates are at the airport.
