We just wanted to share some of our favorite places with you and hopefully while in town you might have an opportunity to enjoy many of the locations where our magic began.

This spot and other surrounding bars, shops and eateries on York Blvd. in Highland Park was a favorite place for us to hang out in our early dating with our friends. The swing the ring on the hook battles between Lala and I were the best!

The Hermosillo (Highland Park Brewery)

A very peaceful and zen location where we use to lounge, chill out and write song lyrics on the lush grounds.

Self-Realization Fellowship International Headquarters

This is one of our early date night spots on our beloved York Blvd. in Highland Park. Great memories here with our lovely friends.

The York

Hands down one of the best venues in LA! We've shared wonderful times here singing and dancing the night away with a smorgasbord of food, snacks, goodies and drinks! It will be open this summer too!

Hollywood Bowl

This restaurant and market in Little Ethiopia has been one of our favorite places to eat for many years.  Everything is so fresh and tasty. Always remember that the traditional Honey Wine can and will sneak up on you.

Merkato Ethiopian Restaurant & Market

Hands down these are the best tacos in LA! Another favorite of ours on date nights and Taco Tuesday's!

La Estrella Tacos

Another wide open hangout with tasty brews, games and good music.

Boomtown Brewery

Lala and I spent a lot of our early dating days on this path enjoying the outdoors as we do to this day exercising by taking long walks like Jill Scott. It doesn't hurt Frogtown Brewery is just off the bike/walking path.

Los Angeles River Bike/Walking Path

A low key beach that we love, not overly crowded just a few miles north of  Santa Monica and Venice Beaches.

Will Rogers State Beach

Where the grass grows greener LOL!!! I must and have to give props to my brother's business and advertise on behalf of him.

California Cannabis Soto Dispensary

One of LA's most scenic landmarks with beautiful panoramic views of the city. Another family favorite!

Griffith Observatory

A nice dive bar in our neighborhood with super cool DJ's

Best Happy Hour hands down in LA with strong drinks with great food. Don't even get us started on that bread pudding OMG!

The Morrison

We love this place not because it's really good, but the prices and how fast it arrives  after ordering. Plus this place is a great place for late nights and way better than some fast food crap!
