Travel

We chose New Orleans because we absolutely love this city and everything it has to offer. We highly encourage you to come out for at least 3 days so you can experience all the food, culture, music, and did we say food?! Below are a couple of hotel options, but if you would like something else, please let me know and I can help you book any other hotel in the city.

Flight

Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY)

MSY is your best airport option. You could technically fly into Baton Rouge as well, but it's much farther from the wedding location, and usually much more expensive.

Hotel

The Troubadour Hotel New Orleans, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

1111 Gravier Street, New Orleans, LA 70112
 +1 504-518-5800

This is the first hotel that G and I stayed together in New Orleans. It is a little bit off the main strip so it isn't right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. Good, clean, modern rooms, but the hotel doesn't have all the bells and whistles. It's right next to a Food Hall with a bunch of really fun dining options. We believe this hotel is the best bang for your buck if you care about the room more than the amenities of the hotel. Room block rate: $229/night Sunday, Dec 29, 2024 - Thursday - Jan 2, 2025

Hotel

The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel

130 Roosevelt Way, New Orleans, LA 70112

This is a classic, luxurious New Orleans hotel in the Waldorf Astoria collection. The rooms are not modern at all, so if the Virgin or W Hotels are your style, this is not it. We like staying here during the holidays with the kids because they go all out and it looks like those hotels you see in the movies. They have great food and drinks at multiple venues and the service is great. Room Block Rate: $359/night Sunday, Dec 29, 2024 - Thursday, Jan 2, 2025
