G has to hit Acme every time he comes to NO. You have to get the chargrilled oysters. It's a rite of passage when coming to the city. We also recommend the fried catfish, and the shrimp poboys.
There are a lot of great beignets in the city, but if you haven't been here, you have to try the OG location. The lines get long though, so if this location is crazy, you can try the other locations they have in the city. Or - check out Cafe Beignet which is another great option.
