Carly and Lani met on the worst movie either of them have ever worked on. Day one Lani introduced herself, "Hi, I'm Lani, I'm the 2nd AC". Carly replied, "I'm Carly, the script supervisor. We're going to be best friends" and she was right! Ever since that fateful day Carly has been Lani's rock. Always teaching her lessons in facing things in life head on, doing things that scare and inspire you and to always put your family and friends first. Carly is a fearless Romberg, a world traveler

Cristy and Lani met at a New Year's Eve party going into 2014. Lani was drawn like the tide to the Moon by Cristy's bright and fun loving energy. She could tell she was someone special and unique immediately. Lani loves what a strong willed woman Cristy is and teaches her about strength every day. And that you should love everyone you care for as hard as you can and to laugh at every opportunity.

Haley and Lani met the first day of college in Orlando Florida. They were fatefully standing together in line for orientation, elated to see another girl in heavily male film program. Their conversation flowed with ease and when they broke for lunch they both called their moms, excited to tell them about their new girlfriend! Haley has always shown Lani deep support, never judgement and a true unconditional love. Through their 11 years of best friendship there have been countless nights of dancing around singing to their favorite Disney movies (Hercules in particular), Halloween traditions at the Haunted Hayride and getting witchy with Practical Magic, and of course drunken days at universal studios Orlando. Haley has a way of making anything and everything the most fun, packed with the most laughter and deeply special.

Kate's friendship has brought so much light into Lani's life. They connect on so many special levels especially their love of yoga, nature and bringing positivity and peace to the world. Kate uniquely lives a life of health, well-being and kindness first that teaches and inspires all those around her, enriching everyone's life she touches. She is also ready for life at a moment's notice like road tripping to San Francisco to see their favorite artist Anderson .Paak and then to New Mexico to share in Lani's most special forest, the Jemez, and 4th of July with her family.

Temma is the most colorful, glittery-est lady ever. Lani loves and admires her for the care, understanding and patience she has for others. She is endlessly creative and thrives at any challenge. Every year for Coachella she surprises all her best friends with a camp flag and creative and hilarious coozies. And at Halloween, no one can come close to her creations, wether she's a space cadet Bowie, Barbarella or a blue bearded rapper, she's sure to amazing the crowd! Lani loves her Temma dearly and is grateful to learn from her bright mind and to share in in the moment coordinated dances and endless laughing fits.

Nicole was the first friend Lani made in LA. They met prepping for a Lifetime movie and instantly connected on every level, a love of laughter, dreams of a family one day with the challenge of working film hours, and a love of Oysters. Nicole has shown her love and support in the hardest of times and the best of times. Her kindness and care for others is unmatched. It seems there is never enough time when these two are laughing and chatting the night away. And finally after years of being separated on different shows they're finally working together again!

Leilani Spring has been an honorary Wasserman for more than half of Lani's life. They share memories of daring night swims on the dark and foggy lake in Maine, the mountain magic of the Jemez at Hummingbird summer camp and now life in Los Angeles together. Spring has endless energy for life, creativity and nurturing her tribe. She is a natural at bringing people together in laughter, deep meaningful conversations, standing up for what is right, and creating whether it's art, music or even an impromptu dance party!
