Yes! The venue has a parking lot that accommodates over 100 cars. However, the venue is down an old mountain road with many sharp turns. Please have a responsible, designated driver if you are planning on bringing your own car and parking it at the venue.
While many of our friends and family have kids, the time saying our vows is very important to us. Therefore, kids will be allowed at the reception, but NOT the ceremony. We are currently working to partner with a nearby day care to provide child care during the ceremony and will reach out to guests with small children with more information as we acquire it. Please contact us if you have any questions.
We both have food allergies that would ruin our wedding night if we ignored them. Therefore, the menu will be based on what we both can consume and enjoy. We will make sure all foods are labeled with their ingredients so you can enjoy the night, also. We will be mindful of those with dietary restrictions and we plan on having gluten-free and vegan options at the reception.
Yes! We are providing a shuttle to/from the Hampton Inn in Pisgah Forest. If you plan to take this shuttle, please let us know so we can ensure we have enough buses.
We’re aiming for business casual for our wedding- men in suits, girls in dresses or suits. No jeans, no shorts. Just had to say it. The weather in WNC can be very unpredictable in the fall. The ceremony will be out in the open and the reception will be in a covered barn. We’d recommend bringing a jacket with you and we will have heaters and blankets available, if needed. The dance floor is in a barn, which has a mulch floor covered with carpets. We’d recommend bringing comfortable shoes (preferably close-toed) for the reception.
