Jake and I met about 2 years ago. On our first date my impression of Jake was mainly of the bad sunburn line on his forehead from wearing a hat backwards while fishing all day, and then the evening ended with a head-butt in the parking lot when we attempted to hug goodnight. So naturally it was love at first sight... possibly induced by my concussion and Jakes’s sun-poisoning. Now after a couple years, there's no one I'd rather do life with. Jake is a Mechanical Design Engineer at DCI in St. Cloud by day and an umpire and referee for the Holdingford school system by night. I am a Registered Nurse working in Outpatient Services and Imaging at the St. Cloud Hospital and in the Emergency Care Center at the Maple Grove Hospital. Jake is the strong, organized, timely, loyal and thoughtful type. While Jake would say I am "strong, passionate about the future, loyal and kind-hearted." We are so thankful that God has brought us together and continues to be faithful and cover us with His grace. We will be living in Minnesota. Rachel still has Iowa blood, and plans to use it to keep her warm during the cold Minnesota winters.
