Question

Can I bring a plus one/ date?

Answer

The bride and groom are aiming for an intimate feel for their wedding. For this reason, we ask that you please do not bring a plus one if it was not indicated on your invitation.

Can I bring my baby?

Answer

While we love your babies and toddlers, we are kindly asking that you find a caretaker for the evening. "Big kids" are welcome to join. If this is an issue or if you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Meredith or Sam! There is a possibility to arrange for a caretaker to be at the Origin hotel if you will have your baby/ toddler with you over the wedding weekend, please connect with Meredith or Sam if this is something that interests you.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress for the weather and for the occasion! The wedding will be semi-formal and in the mountains (longer dresses, jumpsuits, suits with a jacket, etc). September in the mountains means that it may feel really nice during the day and brisk once the sun goes down. We recommend bringing layers in the event it does get cold at night. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception indoors.

I am not staying at the hotel, should I uber?

Answer

While you may be able to uber to the venue, limited cell reception and the venue location will make it very difficult to get an uber back home. We recommend ubering/driving to the Origin at Red Rocks hotel and taking the shuttle to/from the venue, even if you aren't staying at the hotel! This way, we can keep our roads safe and ensure all of our guests enjoy themselves. You can also leave your vehicle at the venue overnight as long as it is gone by 10am the following day. Please do not drink and drive. The roads surrounding the venue can be dangerous for those who are not familiar with driving in the mountains.

What can I expect at the wedding?

We will begin the ceremony promptly at 5:00pm creekside, which will be followed by a cocktail hour and full reception with an open bar and buffet dinner. Get ready to dance the night away with the couple! Due to noise ordinances, we will have to leave the venue by 10pm. Buses will take guests back to the Origin at Red Rocks hotel Lobby Bar (in shifts beginning at 9pm) where the after party will continue with a cash bar until 2am. Come prepared to celebrate!
