Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Welcome Dinner: Garden Party Cocktail Attire-- think light fabrics, colors and florals. Jackets not required. We will be outside taking in the Tuscan views from a Vineyard. Wedding: Black Tie-- tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required.

Question

How do I get to/from the Welcome Dinner?

Answer

Getting to the Welcome Dinner: Kindly arrange your own transportation to Fattoria Sardi. Here are a few options: 1. Taxi app: Download “AppTaxi” in advance (Note: drivers may take up to 20 minutes to get to you, so plan ahead!) 2. Call a Taxi: Radio Taxi Lucca at +39 0583 1745. (Tip: set up WhatsApp before arriving in Italy for easy calls/texts). 3. Hotel Concierge: If staying in a hotel, ask the hotel to book your taxi upon arrival. 4. Driving: If you are traveling by personal car, there is free parking at Fattoria Sardi. Getting back to Lucca City Center from the Welcome Dinner: We’ve arranged a group bus to bring everyone back to the Lucca City Center. The bus departs Fattoria Sardi at 10:00pm and drops off at Porta Santa Maria (Piazza Santa Maria, 42, 55100 Lucca).

Question

Where is the wedding venue?

Answer

Palazzo Pfanner is a palace and garden located within the walled city of Lucca, Italy. The Palazzo dates back to the 17th century and is full of enchanting history. Palazzo Pfanner is easily accessible by foot if you are staying inside the walls of Lucca.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the welcome dinner and the wedding will be outdoors. We suggest bringing a lightweight jacket in case of chilly evenings. Be mindful of your shoe choices as we will be on grass for both the welcome dinner and the wedding.

Question

What is the timeline for the day?

Answer

Visit the "Itinerary" page for detailed information.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP on our website by August 1, 2025.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are many incredible apartments, villas, and hotels nearby. We recommend staying inside the walls of Lucca so you can access restaurants, bars, activities, and the wedding venue by foot. Larger villas are located outside of the city walls and are an amazing way to experience the beauty of Tuscany. Visit our "Travel" page for more information. If you would like help finding a place to stay, please let us know by July 19, 2025.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are not able to accommodate plus ones, unless specified on your invitation. Please refer to the names on your invitation for those invited and RSVP accordingly.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we are having an adults-only event.

Question

Documentation needed to enter Italy?

Answer

Grab your passport and please ensure it does not expire within six months after September 2025. We also recommend familiarizing yourself with visa regulations when traveling from your home country to Italy.
