Travel

We recommend flying into DTW and staying in the "Downtown Detroit" neighborhood (near Shinola Hotel). Downtown will be the central hub for weekend activity, including the Welcome Party on Friday and shuttle transportation on Saturday. The following hotels are listed in order of proximity to the Welcome Party (at the Detroit Beer Exchange), for guests who are interested in being within walking distance to Friday night festivities, as well as easily accessible nearby bars and restaurants. We have clustered the Shinola, the Element, and the Siren hotels at the top of the list due to the added bonus of their proximities to one another. For guests for whom proximity/walking distance to events & activity is not a priority, there is a block of rooms available at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center (details below/scroll to bottom of list). House/apartment rentals through Airbnb or Vrbo are always an option, too!

Detroit Metro Airport
