Question

What is the Dress Code for the wedding?

Answer

The Detroit Yacht Club's preferred dress code is "coat and tie for men, but collared shirts with a jacket are acceptable with dress slacks and shoes. Dress code for women is dresses or pantsuits and shoes." We have loosely translated this to mean "cocktail attire." Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside on the property & the cocktail hour will be outside on the Club's veranda. Dinner & dancing will be inside in the ballroom. We will be keeping our eyes closely on the weather as September in Michigan on the water can be quite cool in the evening, or it can be hot! Layers for ladies may be advisable.

Question

What do guests need to use to access Belle Isle where Detroit Yacht Club is located?

Fantastic question! All guests looking to drive and park at DYC or uber/lyft there will need to save the guest pass at this link (https://bitly.ws/TZb8). This guest pass will provide free access to guests so be sure to save it and save yourself some money!
